Senior iOS Developer, Eidra USA 

Location: Chicago, IL 

Eidra, a leading innovation company, is expanding in the US market. We're seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our product and technology group (Umain, Q42, Punchkick) based in Chicago.

As a Senior iOS Developer at Eidra, you will be a key member of cross-functional teams responsible for the technical design, architecture, development, and maintenance of secure and high-performing mobile applications. You will also provide technical leadership, establish standards, and oversee project delivery. The Eidra engineering team are proud to be true partners to our clients, and have a passion for product and technology.

This role is based in Chicago, with a commitment of 3 days per week at Eidra's office. As part of our expanding presence in the US, you will also contribute to growing Eidra's footprint in the American market, helping to establish our reputation for excellence in development, strategy, and delivery. Senior iOS Developer responsibilities at Eidra include:

Technical Leadership

• Leading iOS projects and mentoring development teams.

• Defining standards and overseeing team delivery and performance.

• Conducting code reviews and reviewing pull requests.

• Client focused, strategic consulting skills.

Technical Architecture, Development & Innovation

• Defining, designing, building & scaling high-performance mobile applications.

• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, State-driven architecture, Modular Architecture patterns (MVVM), and iOS build schema management.

• Familiarity with older iOS architecture: UIKit, MVC, Storyboard, and XIB‑based structures.

• Driving and leading iOS projects and teams. Be able to oversee a team of iOS developers, define standards, and manage team deliveries.

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ship new features across iOS, Android, and multi-platform frameworks such as KMP, and Flutter.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline setup.

• Ability to analyze, reverse engineer, and efficiently re-architect existing projects.

• Contributing to technical and product innovation by proactively sharing ideas and keeping up-to-date with emerging technology trends.
